2. THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT
We have a database of suppliers and will use the information relating to them in order to fulfil our contracts with these suppliers. This information will include name, address, email address, phone number, bank details and the nature of the supplies offered.
SCHOOLS AND TEACHERS
Since our primary charitable purpose is to provide opportunities for young people to make music, we have a database of school and their teachers. This enables us to contact schools and teachers when and where we can provide these opportunities. The information consists of names of schools and teachers, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers. We do not keep personal details of school pupils.
FUNDRAISING AND SUPPORTERS
Water City Music relies on its supporters to raise funds for our activities. As a result we hold data on individuals, charities, other grant givers and companies. This data is collected and processed for purposes that are in our legitimate organisational interests. We shall use it to:
- Inform you of events you may be interested in;
- Invite you to support our activities;
- For administrative purposes such as accounting;
- Invite you to contribute to Water City Music’s funding;
- Reclaim Gift Aid on your donations if applicable.
- We shall always consider your right to privacy and ensure that our use of data is proportionate.
