Celebrating Music in Southwark – joyous
In November 2022 schools from local primary schools performed at The Dragon Connects, along with professional and, early career musicians at St George The Martyr church in Southwark. Family, friends and local residents came along to enjoy the event. Later in the day the musicians visited local care homes to share the music with the wider community. In partnership with Water City Music, the festival was designed to provide inspiration to young performers, connecting them to their local history and community through music, as well as providing joyful, high quality entertainment for thousands of visitors.
