A central part of the Water City Music mission is the development of a genuine appetite and ambition for music amongst those who may not instantly connect with it, for whatever reason. We work with schools, music teachers and wider communities to provide inspiring visits, materials and examples to groups of all sizes and ages. All our events include a “build-up” and “follow-up” phase so that the experience is not just a single day, but a sustained journey over a period of time. In particular we delight in seeing new relationships build between teachers, students, professionals, amateurs and everyone involved with creating something magical.
